… and Burlesque Cabaret was the theme!

On the eve of 21 January 2011, my friends and I decided to spend a Friday night sipping wine and enjoying the “sights”. However, this was a little different because we found ourselves at The Hub on 37 Rue du Prince Royal, drawing sketches at the speed of light and enjoying the company of more than 30 artists.

The models were a delight as they swirled and canned-canned into positions across the floor and chairs, creating dramatic shadows and dancing lines. My pens and pastels did their best to keep up! (click images to enlarge)

This very enjoyable Cabaret night was provided by the International Drawing Studio in Brussels.
