    Always loved this screen print – I remember seeing it at school after you made it and thought it was one of the best prints of Marilyn I’d seen. Looking at it again today I still think the same – you really captured Marilyn’s likeness (not an easy feat to do) and her extraordinary beauty. What a great artist you are!!

    • Thanks J! With squeegee in hand and plenty of black ink, I remember rolling off many prints over breaktime at school to sell them at 5p each! One thing I noticed at the time was that each image seemed slightly different, even though the same ink-block stencil of Marilyn had been used. The one you see here is a scanned copy of the original I have from the first press. I still love it, along with the memories 🙂
