During my too short but wonderful time at Artemis Glass Studio with glass master Paul Stevenson and his very warm family, I was presented with a lovely farewell gift of two beautiful dichroic glass cabochons.
Whilst I could gaze at these mesmerising little squares of glass forever, I decided to develop Paul’s handiwork into unfettered pieces of jewelry.
This does not take much time to do! I mounted each glass piece onto a 13mm round antique copper bail to create the pendant, and for the necklace component, I added antique copper cord-ends, split-rings and a lobster claw fastening to lengths of black leather cord. Voilà! Simple et élégant.
