These pieces were inspired by the work I put together using shells and shell-like metallic beads. I also love the blue of lapis lazuli, so this design attempts to combine these gem chips with the red shell discs. I also had some antique-look findings and beads left over from the masked ball jewelry, which I put to good use here.
These beads and the antique-look findings were sourced from several local art/crafts warehouses; I used jump rings, calottes, Beadalon wire, copper chain, crimp beads, crimp ends, a clip-on earring kit and a lobster clasp, and of course the red shell disc beads, the red seed beads and lapis lazuli chips.
