Belgian Kerststronk

For the first time ever in Belgium my taste buds experienced the delights of the Belgian “kerststronk“. I just can’t believe it has taken me over 5 years to come across such an unusual dessert. What a treat!

And lucky me has another ready for New Years Day… 🙂

    Oh and BTW, you can’t eat a kerststronk on NYE, they dissolve “automagically” four days after XMas… You better go check that fridge! 😉

    • Hey S, I checked the fridge and found some leftover turkey and salmon in champagne sauce! I thought you and Kris would have been tempted to devour that in the midnight hours of Boxing Day! Oh, and you left a new bag of gerookt Grills… for next time then!?! Enjoy your NYE party in Gent and catch up laters in 2014!
