The logistics first πŸ™‚ I arrived in Eivissa on a partially full plane from Brussels’ Zaventem airport, in absolute comfort and joy! Thanks Vueling for a great trip, both directions! Not often do I praise an airline but here they deserve it…!

From the airport I picked up a nice shiny Volkswagen from Avis rentals, after sipping several iced lattes at the very friendly Costa Coffee cafe (strategically placed opposite the airport exit!)

My sister, who was already in Ibiza and looking wonderfully ‘Californian beautiful’ as any birthday girl in Eivissa should, shared in my ritual latte sipping, pero descafeinado. She wisely handed me the melting sunblock for a pronto fix in protection!

It was HOT! HOT! HOT!

So, to the real experience of what Eivissa can offer! What is that…? Well, having already had some experience of this already, albeit ‘near vintage’, I was seeking more of the same… and that is the soulful state of 24/7 feelings of love, joy and peace, which if you’re open-hearted, Eivissa will merge with and melt you beyond expectation!

I was not disappointed! In fact, I was probably much more open than 20 years before; my chakras spun like sparkling rainbow pinwheels! So the photo montage that follows is just a little peek into what Eivissa offers… πŸ™‚

But first, Eivissa is just a fragrant island without the happy smiley people who go there! So, a very special “hugs” to ma soeur and Sylv who proved not to snore at night times! And, a very special “hello!” to Cha Cha (lady after my own chakras!), Hilly (great tattooist!!), MK and Yaz (amazing hosts!), Jason (& Zigs), Seth (nice foot massage!), James (love the pink), and to all those whose souls danced with mine for a little time in song and sangria!
And “thank you” to the friendly guys at Es Cana Camping who made our stay special; thanks too for the French lessons… I spoke more French in Eivissa than in Belgium!!
My warm wishes too to Laurence (getting lost in Brussels airport has never been such fun with a stranger; a stranger no more!)

Click photos for slideshow… enjoy!

Eating healthy like goddesses in Eivissa! Plenty of salads consumed, but we did succumb to the occasional nacho feast! Sangria was so good too...

Sylv delights at the secluded cove by Estany des Peix in Formentera. Later, we used our mode of transport to cycle up to the town of Sant Francesc, then around the Estany Pudent until we reached Cavall d'en Borras. Really cool place to cycle with cycle paths!

Art installation for MK’s birthday party… the serpent is unleashed!

One of the many reasons I visited Eivissa at this time was to celebrate a ‘big’ birthday of my sister, and that of her very close friend, MK, who has the same birthdate (soul family ties of some kind I’m sure!).

MK hosted some wonderful events during his birthday week, one of which I photo montage below mainly to show off the decoration and art installation!! Beautiful!

For the rest, you had to be there to experience the party delights!
